The history of Guernica
Picasso The ‘Journey of Guernica’ offers a historical overview of Picasso’s work from its creation in Paris in 1937 to its permanent location at the Reina Sofía National Art Center Museum in 1992.
Visitors can discover the creative process carried out by the famous Spanish artist to carry out his work, as well as its meaning of anti-war denunciation and the reasons why the work traveled throughout the world for more than forty years.
Until February 21
The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 12.30 to 2 pm and from 5 to 9 pm. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 11 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 9 pm.
In addition, guided tours will be held, from Monday to Friday, at 7 pm and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, at 12 and at 7 pm.
