With an extraordinary and original production, the first of which is presented in London, including 40 artists on stage, lush suits crowned by an Oscar, the spectacular bus that gives its title to the show and a soundtrack that brings together the most danced successes of the story.

OPERA TURANDOT – El Batel Cartagena

OPERA TURANDOT – El Batel Cartagena

OPERA TURANDOT Opera TURANDOT, of Giacomo Puccini, unfinished by the death of Puccini, was completed by Franco Alfano and presented to the public on April 25, 1926, at La Scala in Milan.
In Spain, he was performed in the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona on 30 December 1928.

The origin of Turandot’s history dates back to a poem entitled “The Seven Princesses”, whose author, Nezami, was a great poet of Persian literature. This poem tells the story of a Persian prince who had seven princesses, each from a different location in the empire.
One of these Russian princesses could not find a man who was worthy of her, so she hid in a fortress and declared that he would give the man who would find her and could solve a series of puzzles.
This story was taken up by François de la Croix, a French orientalist, who made a cultural transposition of the original Russian princess into a Chinese princess called Turandokht.

Composed of three acts, this opera contains one of the most difficult parts of the opera due to the treble required by the soprano.
This air takes place in the second act and begins with the phrase “In questa Reggia”. On the other hand, in the third act, he is one of the most famous tunes for a tenor, “Nessun dorma”, which represents the victory of love over hatred.

MADAME BUTTERFLY – TEATRO ROMEA MURCIA

MADAME BUTTERFLY – TEATRO ROMEA MURCIA

MADAME BUTTERFLYFor this opera Madame Butterfly, Puccini has drawn from two works: the story of Madame Butterfly (1898), Luther Long, dramatized by David Belasco, and novel Madame Chrysanthème.
The first version, with only two acts, was created on February 17, 1904, at La Scala in Milan.
However, given the poor reception, a second version was published in three acts, on May 28, 1904, at the Great Theater of Brescia. Finally, it was presented a third version, the final on 28 December 1906, at the Opéra Comique in Paris.
Exoticism, passion, hope and honor are present throughout this famous opera.
It is located in the town of Nagasaki in the early 20th century and tells the story of a young Japanese woman after a love affair with an American official.
Although this work is not known the immediate success at its premiere, at the moment, thanks to famous tunes like Come serums, One beautiful di vedremo, Dovunque al mondo and Con onor muore, is one of the operas the most represented and acclaimed by the public .

Opera LA TOSCA – Giacomo PUCCINI

LA TOSCA  – Giacomo PUCCINI

La ToscaThe opera La Tosca was created in January 1900 at the Theater Costanzi in Rome and with “Madame Butterfly” and “La Bohème”, integrates the best known three operas of Puccini.

In addition, as the Director General of the Institute of Arts and Letters, Marta Lopez-Briones, say: ” Tosca ” contains some of the finest arias in the lyric repertoire.

The murciano Baños interprets Cavaradossi in this opera in three acts with a libretto by Giuseppe Giacosa and Luigi Illica on the play of Victorien Sardou.

The story, in which love, intrigue, violence, passion and death combined, is protagonized by the singer Floria Tosca and the painter Mario Caravadossi.
