Obviously, you have to visit Murcia and Cartagena but there are a lot of cities or villages worth a visit:

  • Aledo: Aledo, medieval village in the heart of the Sierra Espuña, natural environment that includes the Hotel Monasterio Santa Eulalia. A place for walking for nature lovers and another piece of history of Moors and Christians.

During the trip, you will have beautiful views of the rice fields Calasparra. A few kilometers from Calasparra, is “La Cueva del Puerto“. One of the caves with the most horizontal run we can find in the Region of Murcia
  • Caravaca de la Cruz: The wood of the Cross which is preserved in the SANTUARIO DE LA VERA CRUZ DE CARAVACA  is a Christian symbol representing the content of the message and work of Christ. Traditionally in May, we can assist to the popular and legendary HORSES WINE career whose origin is historical.

A curiosity: The Road Drum offers you the chance to discover the culture of drum in Moratalla, and if it is accompanied by an official guide, you will discover this craft and see the manufacturing process of this ancient percussion instrument and hear their unique feel.
